Full-Time Chef needed for Esker Lodge Nursing Home, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef looking for a better work-life balance, working full-time day shifts from 08:00 to 17:30

Esker Lodge Nursing Home is situated in Cavan Town, County Cavan. It is a purpose-built designated centre for older people. The centre provides accommodation for a maximum of 70 residents.

We are presently looking for a full-time chef to start working with us.

Overview of the role

Responsible for preparing meals to suit the dietary requirements of a nursing home. Provide the catering service efficiently and follow current legislation and company policy and procedure.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

• Professional qualification (Culinary Arts/HACCP/QQI)
• Level 2 HACCP Training
• Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.
• Can work as part of and lead a team, having excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about delivering great food.
• Fluent level of English, both written and oral.
